I absolutely love this series!! I fell hard and fast for all of the Baileys right off the bat, but I wasn’t sure I could love any of the couples more than I loved Asher and Grace. I mean, I absolutely adored their story! However, Evan has arrived, and he is ready to battle it out for best Bailey brother!
There is something incredible about this family, and I absolutely loved seeing everyone again. In the previous books, we didn’t see a whole lot of Evan. With is grumpy, brooding nature he stayed out of the limelight. However, when Fiona came along and forced him to take center stage, it was incredible. I love the way she was able to bring out the best in him while recognizing and appreciating his natural need for space and a bit of solitude. And when it came to Fiona, I love the way Evan loved with all he had even when he didn’t really realize or want it.
And Fiona was so much freaking fun. I don’t know how anyone could read this story and not fall in love with her instantly. She is quirky (I mean, she has pet plants with old lady names) and cheerful despite everything she is up against. I love the way she was able to really see Evan and appreciate him for who he really was, and the way she didn’t back down no matter how growly he got.
This book is absolutely perfect! I truly think this series is some of Claire Kingsley’s best writing yet. Now I’m just left anxiously waiting for what comes next, because I’m completely ready to continue with the Bailey Brothers!!
